The only thing the following bits have in common is the fact there is no mention of the state of online journalism in Canada:

• Just stumbled across Heather Havrilesky’s Rabbit Blog. A very welcome filler for Filler—as could be sweat flavored gummi.
• Mozilla released its almost 1.0 version. The browser is incredible, the mail and news client seems a bit wonky on Windows 98 though. The browser can even use SOAP—a Web service tool generating a lot of attention right now.
• Michael Geist speculates in yesterday’s Globe a recent Supreme Court decision could move to rebalance copyright laws. Interesting read.
• Finally, Americans are missing out on one of the coolest things around: Kinder Surprises.
