Tara Cleveland’s got details (and pics) on the first 'WebStandards.TO meet up. Not a bad turn-out given the ice storm hitting the city.

Glish.com points JavaScript optimization tricks (which I swear I once bookmarked). GUUI suggests reading how to improve blurb writing (this article is one many great writing-related pieces to be found at Dennis G. Jerz’s site) — good blurbs make good blog entries (which is this isn’t really) and are an essential element in presenting online news.

The JavaScript optimization page is quite useful. Thanks for pointing to it. I discovered that there were a few problems in the Duff's Device test code, so I put together a corrected version. (Any idea how to contact the original author?)
