EPpys and eyes
The finalists for Editor & Publisher’s annual EPpy Awards have been announced. There’s nothing too surprising in the list of all-American nominees (except maybe Google’s nod).
What will be more interesting, though, is Poynter’s next EyeTrack study which promises a comprehensive analysis of how people’s eyes move while reading newspapers online. The results are due sometime around May. (This study will be similar, if not in scale, to Andy Edmonds’s master thesis on how people use the mouse, particularly to navigate menus.)
