The HTML 5 design with some text based experiments on the homepage which ended as the site grew dormant. A campaign around to celebrate a May 1st “Reboot” of inspired some additional that led to this blocky background version of the site which used a style sheet called “90s”.
The design can still be seen in some old Main Page Rants, including the one that announced it’s arrival on . A year later, it was rebooted again. The lasting influence it had on saila.com was its adoption of sans serif type (in this case, Avenir Next) as a body typeface.
